The Architect's Story

Principal Enterprise Architect

Takeda Pharmaceuticals | Zurich, Switzerland

My journey in technology began over 16 years ago as a developer in India, fresh out of Osmania University with a B.E. in Computer Science. What started as writing code at Infosys and adidas in Germany has evolved into something I never quite imagined: architecting enterprise systems for one of the world's leading pharmaceutical companies while building with the latest AI technologies.

I've been at Takeda for over 13 years now. That's rare in tech, and intentional. I've grown from SharePoint consulting to Business Domain Architect, from Corporate Functions EA to Global Patient Engagement Platform Architect, and now to Principal Enterprise Architect covering the Global Portfolio Divisionspanning Commercial & Marketing domains across 70+ countries.

What makes me different from most enterprise architects? I still code. I build PoCs. I ship tools. When I talk about AI agents and their potential to transform enterprise software, I'm not theorizing from a whiteboardI've been building chatbots and AI assistants since 2015, years before the generative AI wave made it mainstream.

This combination of hands-on builder and senior enterprise strategist is rare. It's also intentional. I believe the future of enterprise architecture belongs to those who can bridge the gap between vision and implementation, between governance and innovation, between enterprise rigor and startup agility.

Everything you read here is 100% human-authored. No AI ghostwriting. When I write about the future of enterprise architecture or the rise of agentic systems, these are ideas I've tested in practice, not theories borrowed from the latest hype cycle.

What I Believe

1

Enterprise Architecture should be a force multiplier, not a bottleneck.

The best EA practices enable teams to move faster while maintaining architectural integrity. We achieve this through embedded guardrails, not gates.

2

The next wave of enterprise value comes from architects who can code.

Theory disconnected from practice leads to ivory tower architecture. The ability to prototype, build PoCs, and ship working software is essential.

3

Governance doesn't have to mean gatekeeping.

Modern governance is about automation, self-service, and guardrails as code. We can maintain compliance without slowing down innovation.

4

AI agents will reshape enterprise software, starting with regulated industries.

The complexity and compliance requirements of industries like pharma make them ideal proving grounds for AI augmentation done right.
